I know at least that velocity sets the volume for a particular midi trigger, but what do the others do? Searching the manual for some time led to no useful information. What does the modulation curve modulate?
Such does not seem to be the case. As for the others, I have no clue.Anyone care to describe?many thanks,NJ. As for the others, I have no clue.Anyone care to describe?many thanks,NJWhat the mod wheel does, is depending on what the preset designer has decided to make it do. You are looking at the midi clip automation section BTW. Selecting the '.'
Part will allow you to automate any parameter from the assigned instrument within the midi clip.Velocity is basically the value with which you strike the 'instrument' most of the times this will translate to level, but in multi-sample instruments may also lead to slightly different tonal character.Modulation, I've mentioned above.Pitch bend (not blend) will change the pitch of the played note. Kind of like bending the strings on a guitar.Aftertouch is the amount of pressure that is applied additionally on a key after you have pressed it. On synths any number of parameters may be mapped to the aftertouch, again up to the preset designer to determine what it does. What am I modulating??Thanks,NJWhatever you have connected to the modulation in Battery.
It basically is a generic parameter that you can assign to modulate anything.
